Sunflower is a Shetland mare seeking a quiet, experienced home on long term loan.

She is a kind, good natured pony who is lovely to have around, but has mainly been kept as a pet so has not had much formal handling or education. She is good to catch and for the farrier.

She is not used to leaving the field and would not suit a busy yard or a home with lots of noise and children. She is happiest in a calm, quiet environment.

She has been loved, and came to us through no fault of her own when her previous owner became unwell, and she is a much loved pony looking for a secure, long term home.

She has had laminitis in the past, so will need careful weight management and is best suited to living with similar native type companions who are also good doers.

We are looking for a knowledgeable home who understands native ponies and their management needs.
