CRISIS – Please help if you can

Our charity has just been ordered to pay £41,000 in legal costs by the National Parks Planning department.

We are a small charity and don’t have that sort of money. It will take time to raise it, and they require payment by 10^th February, which is impossible.

Write an email/letter by 4^th Feb

We are asking our supporters to write to the National Parks Planning Committee, who are meeting on THURSDAY 5^th February to ask them to be reasonable and give us more time to pay. We need letters no later than Wednesday the 4^th February, preferably sooner.

Letters can be brought to the shop or sent to us by email so we can pass them on.

Your presence matters. The more supporters we have in the room, the harder it is for them to ignore us.

Tim at Christmas 2019, just days after he and two other ponies were abandoned and came into our care.

Tim recently, saying thank you for taking the time to support our little charity.

If enough people show their support, this big, well-resourced public body might stop pushing us around, we are not asking for much.

We are currently receiving calls for help many times every week to assist with badly treated or abandoned horses – the cost of living crisis has made everything worse and this time of year is always busy for us.

We need to spend the next few months saving the lives of abandoned horses who would otherwise be put down, all we are asking for is some breathing space.
